  • Quality – Even if you're trying to save money, don't cut corners on quality fabrics. Whether your workwear is made from 100% cotton or poly blends, it needs to be comfortable to wear all day.
  • Variety – Some uniforms are as simple as a top and pants, but if you expand to include seasonal options like winter jackets and sleeveless summer shirts, you can make sure your staff are comfortable all year round.
  • Colour – Unless you're incorporating your brand colours, your uniform should follow established colour schemes to avoid looking out of place or becoming dated when trendy colours go out of fashion.
  • Longevity – You probably want your uniform to last, so it's wise to avoid jumping on current trends in colours and styles that could end up looking unfashionable or even embarrassing in the future. Aim for a lifespan of at least two to three years.
