This year, Home Timber and Hardware kicked off with its biggest ever national conference held from the 3rd – 5th of March at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. Along with more than 170 suppliers, the TIG team travelled to the sunny Gold Coast to attend the conference.
The conference brings together over 300 Home Timber & Hardware, Plants Plus and Thrifty-Link Hardware stores across Australia all under one roof, along with a range of industries bodies and influencers.
TIG is the uniform supplier for the HTH Group, Home Timber and Hardware, Becks, Plants Plus and Thrifty Link. Their range includes custom designed polos, cargos, outerwear, aprons and even promotional merchandise such as tradesmen pencils and headwear.
TIG exhibited at the conference event displaying their various uniform products. It was a great opportunity for the TIG team to personally introduce themselves to the stores and for the stores to see and try on the uniform range.
Where possible, TIG likes to support customers by exhibiting and attending conferences is a great way to connect with buyers.
In line with the event theme ‘Our Customers, Our Success’ the conference focused on the attendees, providing interactive exhibitions, product demonstrations and special guest speakers. The conference also provided an opportunity to network, drive business opportunities and celebrate the group’s recent successes and gain valuable insights into their strategic direction. On the second day, special VIP guests, Steve Menzies and Petero Civoniceva ran and participated in a competition that allowed people to test their ball passing skills against them.
As the day came to an end, participants attended a street celebration dinner which offered a wide selection of delicious street food and live music. The celebration included a special pub rock theme in tribute of Australia’s rock days.
