-A helper to take the measurements for you as these will be more accurate while you stand in a relaxed position

TIP - For more accurate measurements, measure on bare skin otherwise thin and fitted clothing will work too.

HOW TO MEASURE

FOR HIM

Neck: Measure the circumference of your neck where the collar would normally sit (put on a shirt to help guide you if needed) allowing between one to two fingers width under the tape measure.

Chest: Measure the circumference of the fullest part of your chest with the tape up under your arms and around shoulder blades. Ensure the tape is level all the way around your back and to the front.

Waist: For most people this is right above where the pants sit, however, it depends on what pants you wear as with suit pants a contemporary fit waist sits slightly lower than traditional fitting pants by a few centimeters to sit below the belly button. Alternatively, measure slightly above your belly button and just below your rib cage. If you are unsure, bend sideways and where the natural crease forms is where your waistline is. For this measurement it is recommended to measure over a shirt otherwise allow for one finger width between. Ensure the tape is level all the way around.

Inner leg: Measure the inside of your leg from the crotch to the hem of a well-fitting pair of pants.

FOR HER

Bust: Measure the circumference of the fullest part of your bust with the tape up under your arms and around shoulder blades. Ensure the tape is level all the way around your back and to the front.

Waist: To find your natural waist, locate the top of your hip bones and move up your sides to the fleshy part. This is usually around your belly button level. Put the tape measure around this area allowing one finger width under the tape and ensuring the tape is level all the way around. Depending on the fit and style of pant you are after, this measurement position will vary.

Hips: Start at one hip and wrap the tape all the way around your back over the fullest part of your hips (about 20 – 24cm down the side from your natural waist line) ensuring the tape is level as this part can be a bit tricky.

Note: Size measurement charts are only a guide. Actual sizing may vary according to the style and fit of the garment.
